Tomato Chicken Drumsticks Recipe


Ingredients: 

  • Five to six chicken legs, 
  • Salt to taste, 
  • One teaspoon of crushed ginger garlic, 
  • Half a cup of tomato paste, 
  • Two tomatoes, 
  • Half a teaspoon of ground black pepper, 
  • One teaspoon of crushed red pepper, 
  • One teaspoon of white cumin seeds, 
  • One teaspoon of ground hot spices, 
  • A pinch of food color, 
  • Half a teaspoon of Kasuri fenugreek seeds, 
  • Four to six tablespoons of cooking oil.

Recipe: 

  • Wash the chicken legs thoroughly and cut them and apply food color. 
  • Wash and blend the tomatoes. 
  • Add ginger, garlic, salt, red chillies, chopped cumin and hot spices in a wide bowl and marinate the chicken for fifteen to twenty minutes. 
  • Heat the cooking oil in a pan on medium heat then add the spices. 
  • Add the chicken legs and fry on high flame until golden brown. 
  • Then lower the flame and add tomato paste and blended tomatoes and cover and cook. 
  • When the chicken is cooked and the tomato water dries up, fry them lightly, sprinkle with kasuri methi and red chillies and remove from the stove after three to four minutes.
